PARENTING SKILLS AND SUPPORT GROUPS AND SEMINARS
At Excelsior, we offer parenting skills seminars to teach the 1-2-3 Magic program (developed by Dr. Thomas Phelan) to parents. We combine behavior modification with cognitive behavioral techniques to help parents develop a greater understanding of parenting techniques and philosophy to help children best succeed.
SOCIAL SKILLS GROUPS
Excelsior provides social skills groups for children and teens to help them develop the necessary skills to feel more comfortable and effective in our social society. Group ages, dates, and times can be found on our home page. Pricing varies depending on donations. Please contact us via phone or email for registration and pricing.
SPECIAL EDUCATION ADVOCACY AND CONSULTATION
Excelsior offers IEP/504 consultation and advocacy to parents in an effort to help them navigate the complicated special education system.
